Balsamic Grilled Mushrooms

BBQ season is upon us!

So it’s about time for a vegan BBQ, don’t you think? Say no more, cause we have been looking forward to this time of year and have come prepared with these gorgeous mushroom skewers. Who knew Balsamic Vinegar is not only great on salad?

INGREDIENTS

3 Cloves of Garlic
400g Mushrooms
1/2 tsp Thyme
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Salt & Pepper

METHOD

1. Wash and drain the mushrooms., then pierce them onto a skewer.

2. Peel and crush the garlic, then create a marinate with the rest of the ingredients.

3. Gently brush the mushrooms with the marinade.

4. Add the skewers to an oiled frying pan or your barbecue.

5. Keep brushing the marinade across the skewers during the cooking time. Your mushrooms are ready once they have slightly shrunk in size and have taken on a golden-brown colour.
