Banana Protein Pancakes

Start your morning off right with these delicious banana protein pancakes. The perfect breakfast or brunch dish, courtesy of Frankie from @glutenfree_frankie. These pancakes are full of protein and can be ready to eat in just 15 minutes – a super simple recipe that everyone will enjoy!

1-2 people



2 tsp. egg replacer (can use chia seeds or applesauce)
1 large very ripe banana
2 (20g each) scoops of vegan unflavoured protein powder
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
50ml of plant-based milk


1. Mix two teaspoons of egg replacer, or equivalent, until it has a silly smooth texture. Gently mix in the banana and other ingredients to the egg replacer, and fold until everything is well combined.

2. Heat a small pancake pan over low heat. Scoop 1/4 of the mixture into the pan and cook for 60-90 seconds on each side.

3. Serve immediately. Serve or top with banana, peanut butter, syrup and chocolate! Or choose a healthier option – vegan yoghurt and fresh berries. Enjoy!
