These tarts are the number ones on the guilty pleasures list. Rich vegan chocolate spread between home-made pastry, topped with more chocolatey goodness. Medicine for the soul!
SHARE THIS RECIPE
1. Combine the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
2. Cut in the cubed butter to the pastry mix and in a blender mix until it is crumbly. Create a well in the centre.
3. Pour in the water and fold over the pastry with a spatula. Divide into to balls, wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
4. Roll out the pastry and cut into rectangular. Fill half of the rectangles with chocolate spread, place the other half on the top and seal the corners with the back of a fork.
5. Freeze for 20 mins, then bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden.
6. Let them cool, then cover in melted chocolate and sprinkles. Enjoy!
