Olive Oil & Herb Dip

If you love to dip your bread in oil, you’ll love this recipe!

Featuring our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh Mediterranean herbs, this is an easy appetizer that will wow your guests.

INGREDIENTS

2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp fresh basil
⅛ tsp paprika powder
A pinch of black pepper
Salt to taste
Freshly toasted walnut bread to serve

METHOD

  1. Place the olive oil into a small saucepan. Add the garlic and place the saucepan onto low heat for a couple of minutes, or until the garlic begins to become golden. Remove from the heat and carefully remove the garlic.
  2. Add all the herbs to a chopper and pulse to break them down into small chunks. Add them to the hot oil alongside the paprika powder and heat on low for 3-4 minutes for the herbs to
    release their aromas into the oil. Remove from the heat and allow for the oil to cool down completely.
  3. Transfer the oil into a dipping dish, drizzle it with the balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with freshly cracked pepper. Season to taste with a little salt and serve your herbal olive oil dip alongside freshly toasted bread.
  4. Get dipping!

Chef’s tip:

This olive oil dip combines Mediterranean aromas in a delicious way, but the herbal oil itself is also fantastic added to salads, salsa & bean dips!
