Vegan Chocolate Croissant

Whether it’s chocolate day (7th July!) or not – these vegan chocolate croissants are always a good addition to Sunday brunch in our books! And who would’ve thought their so easy to create!

Just yummy, chocolate-y wonders!

INGREDIENTS

1 roll of Jusrol Puff Pastry
1-2 Tbsp chopped Hazelnuts

METHOD

1. Start by pre-heating your oven to 180 degrees.

2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet and use a pizza cutter to cut it into 4 large triangles. Ideally place the sheet horizontally in front of you and cut diagonally, so that you get 4 large triangles and 2 smaller ones on the ends of the pastry sheet.

3. Let get spreading! Spread 1 tsp of Mr Organic Dairy Free Chocolate Spread along the wider part of the triangles.

4. Carefully roll up the croissants, starting at the wider edge. Gently hold the corners between your fingers and once you have rolled all the way, gently bent the ends inwards to give the croissants the typical half round shape.

5. Carefully place on a baking sheet, brush with a little almond milk and sprinkle with the chopped hazelnuts.

6. Place in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden and crunchy. Enjoy!
